Okay so here's all the questions that have to deal with
Soul of the Seasons. For questions about who is my favorite character, please
see my "About me" FAQ.
- Why did you make a Warlord only website?
- Well at the time I was online, back in '95, any information about the
Dark Warlords was either lacking or incorrect or both. Determined to get the
facts straight, I made my page. I figured someone had to defend these poor
guys right? Soon it turned from getting correct info out to a passion. The
more I watched the series, the more I felt for these guys who were so used,
abused, and lied to by their master.
- This page used to be called, "Archdruid Unacera's 3 Dark Warlord's Page"
right? Why the name change and what inspired it?
- I changed the website name because it was too long. I wanted something
shorter and more catchy.
As for the new website name itself, it comes from something I read about
Druidism about that time. It had a Druid who was saying the seasons were
like a circle and how it changes as life does. But the soul in the center of
the circle remains the same, unchanging. So thus I put it together into a
website name.
- I have read you saying your site is the first Warlord only website. My
question is, how do you know that?
- Um, because I was there. There was a website called, "Dark Warlords of
the Dynasty", but it had info on the Ronins as well. Thus it wasn't a
Warlord centric site.
- When will you write more fanfic? (Last updated 12/2/06)
- Ah yes it has been a long while. I have been writing small pieces, but I
haven't been able to finish them into complete parts yet. Basically my life
is really crazy and I don't have the time to sit down and write like I used
to. Also my writing muse took a very long vacation, or possibly died
altogether, after receiving a
criticizing email a while back. (It started out complementary, which
pulled me in, and then turned 180 on me.) What really hurt is that one of
the negative comments on my fanfic that they quoted was from someone who I
thought was one of my online friends. So I really felt backstabbed and
crushed.
Now a days, I'm working 40 hrs a week with another 15 hrs for commuting time
total over the week. This unfortunately hasn't left me enough time to unwind
and try to write again. Plus I've badly injured my left foot which won't
heal for long while yet, along with off and on illnesses. So I've been
completely drained and depressed.
I am promising myself to make a New Year's Resolution to really get back to
writing again. So here's to hoping.
- Where can I buy doujinshi?
- I have a few places on my links page. You may get lucky and find someone
selling one on eBay. Or go through
Doujin Box
and bid on a doujinshi on Yahoo Japan. (You will have to pay various fees
for this service.)
- Get any interesting emails over the years?
- Oh yes. Very. I've also received emails from people outside the US, and
some written in Japanese (and I'm not talking in romanji here).
On the negative side I've received everything from, "[Insert Warlord/Masho
name here] better not marry [insert original character here] because he's
MINE!", to abusive emails, to a threatening email that it was forwarded to
their internet service provider.
